Spring of the 15th year of Heisei
Xie Zhen, who was abandoned in front of the Taoist temple, grew into a young girl amidst the bronze bells and the fragrance of mugwort. The morning mist spread over the faded Sanqing statue, and in the sound of green cattle gnawing wild berries, the old Taoist priest taught her the first lesson with roasted sweet potatoes: what the gods prefer is the temperature of a living person. When the signal tower pierced the silence of the mountains, the girl, carrying the memory of the wax-sealed fruit offering, stepped onto the bluestone steps of the Tokyo Conjuring College.
Here, the limitless blue magic power dances with the red spikes of the peach wood sword, and the silver light of the reversal technique reflects the ancient lines of the Taoist bronze bell. In the taijutsu field where cherry blossoms bloom, and in the long corridor where the aroma of miso soup floats, the abandoned ones will eventually pick up the scattered date stones and string them together into magical instruments that span the mountains and seas. Those called curses are just unspoken thoughts in the world.
