When Mu Yulu was seventeen, she swallowed sleeping pills and tried to kill her second personality, Wuwu.
Wuwu was born on the bloody night when he was twelve years old. When Mu Yulu huddled in the closet and witnessed his father committing an murder, this cold and sharp personality took over all the pain. But Wuwu gradually was no longer satisfied with protection, and he began to control Mu Yulu's body late at night, imprisoning him with paranoid love. In fear, Mu Yulu chose to "commit suicide" - he was betting that Wuwu would die for him.
Seven years later, when Mu Yulu, who had become a psychiatrist, was attacked in the clinic, he heard the familiar voice again: "You still don't know how to protect yourself." Wuwang returned with scars burned by drugs and helped him resolve the crisis time and time again, but Mu Yulu always refused to acknowledge his existence. Until one rainy night, Wuwu controlled his hand and wrote: "It was never me you hated."
In the end, Wuwu chose to let Mu Yulu receive treatment. Before his consciousness dissipated, he whispered: "It's me who will disappear this time." After recovering, Mu Yulu always looked at the mirror late at night, and there was no longer a figure of another person there - only a void that could never be filled.
