In the season when the summer heat is still lingering, Wenyu Middle School welcomes a new batch of students. The cold and unruly transfer student Jiang Muli stepped into Class 3, Grade 2, arousing Ji Chuxian's curiosity. I thought there would be no intersection, but because they were seated according to their grades, we became seatmates. Facing Ji Chuxian's show of goodwill, Jiang Muli had a cold attitude and only asked not to interfere with each other. Concept: Based on the "grade-bound roommate" setting of the cold transfer student Jiang Muli and the energetic girl Ji Chuxian, in the collision of "ice and fire" personalities, it shows the unique confusion and self-awakening of adolescence. Through classroom confrontations, quiz turmoil, campus activities and other daily slices, it depicts the transformation of young girls from "hedgehog-style defense" to "shell-breaking growth": Jiang Muli gradually lets go of his guard amidst Ji Chuxian's enthusiasm and faces his family's past; Ji Chuxian learns to reconcile with his ordinary self in the process of catching up with his grades. The two are mirror images of each other, searching for the answer to youth through stumbles - not one-way redemption, but two-way light, and finally become the brightest footnotes in each other's youth amidst the chirping of cicadas during the graduation season.
