This story describes a protagonist suffering from mental illness who accidentally travels to Jerusalem in the twelfth century and becomes the personal caregiver of the young and sick King Baldwin IV through an accident. The Kingdom of Jerusalem has been in turmoil for nearly a hundred years since its founding. Baldwin not only had to face the external forces of Saladin, but also faced the power struggle among the domestic nobles. At the same time, he also had to face his own illness - skin ulcers and muscle loss caused by suspected leprosy. As his body continues to deteriorate, he deals with internal and external problems and tries to use his last strength to defend the holy city of Jerusalem.
Inspired by the Kingdom of Heaven.
