On a campus washed away by heavy rain, the silent transfer student Zhou Yan takes the mechanical watch and burn scars left behind by his father and breaks into the world of Lin Ye, the lead singer of Zhang Yang's school band. One hides the scars of a broken family on math scratch paper, and the other fights the fate of traumatic tinnitus with a broken-string guitar.
