Ten minutes of strawberry-flavored recess
In the first grade of elementary school, Su Ze from Class 1 and Youying from Class 2 met across the corridor. Their eyes met inadvertently, twinkling briefly like two little stars. Su Ze always liked to lie on the railing of the corridor and secretly glance at the girl from the next class who was wearing a bow tie and smiling brightly. Youying would also pretend to casually glance at the tall and tall boy when passing by the door of Class 1.
From second grade to sixth grade, they became classmates. One day during class in the fourth grade, Su Ze blushed and stuffed a letter folded into the shape of a heart into Youying's hand. From then on, their sweet presence was everywhere on campus. Under the shade of the trees in the playground, their whispers are hidden; in the desks, there are paper cranes filled with their thoughts. But love is never smooth sailing. They broke up after the Cold War and reconciled when the first snow fell, thinking that this relationship could last forever.
However, in the sixth grade, the pressure to enter higher education loomed like a dark cloud. Su Ze looked at Youying, who was immersed in studying questions every day and determined to take the key points in the stock market. He was filled with uneasiness, fearing that he would become a stumbling block on her way to pursue her dream. So, he used the clumsiest and cruelest way - deliberately walking side by side with the girl in the next class, chatting and laughing, looking at Youying's moist eyes and her turning back, and finally forced her to break up.
On the day of graduation, the campus radio played farewell songs, and the strawberry-flavored candies that were once shared in the ten minutes between classes were now only bitter. Those unspoken attachments and those deep feelings covered up by misunderstandings have become unforgettable regrets in youth.
