When I was nineteen years old, I got lost at Munich Central Station. The mixed-race boy who helped me guide me was named Gu Yue. He had a pair of gray-green eyes and a faint dimple on his left cheek when he smiled. None of us could have imagined that this chance encounter would be life-changing.
