The story revolves around two teenagers, He Chi and Shi Jing Zhi, who are in difficult situations. One is tortured by his father's alcoholism and violence, and the other is bullied at school due to the absence of his parents. The same loneliness and struggle brought them close to each other, supported each other, and found warmth and comfort in the cold world.
For the sake of a common future, He Chi secretly worked without telling Shi Jingzhi, and was even forced to get involved in an underground boxing ring. However, the cruelty of fate gradually dashed their hopes. In the last black boxing match, He Chi died unexpectedly, and Shi Jing Zhi's world collapsed. After that, Shi Jingzhi fell into endless pain and longing. He had hallucinations due to excessive longing and was sent to a mental hospital. However, he continued to try to "reunite" with He Chi through various means.
In the past ten years, Shi Jingzhi opened a used bookstore, and his life will always stay in the summer with He Chi. He held on to his love for He Chi in loneliness and memories until the end of his life.
Purpose: to show the sincere emotions of teenagers supporting each other in difficult situations, as well as the impermanence and cruelty of fate, to explore the contradiction between love and survival, dreams and reality, and to trigger thinking about human nature and the social environment.
