Xiaoyun, a first-grade girl, was sent to her grandmother's house in the countryside by her parents during the summer vacation. There was no air conditioning in the summer and she had no friends. Out of boredom, she used an old camera to take pictures of the nearby scenery, but she could never take good-looking photos.
One day she meets Ashu, a boy who always fishes for things in the river. He claims that there is a "treasure of summer" hidden in the river.
The two used cameras and fishing nets to record beautiful moments of life and save polluted streams.
Xiaoyun discovered that the most beautiful photos are not the scenery, but the neglected little lives and friendships.
