Everyone has obsessions after death. It is a soul, an object, or what you call a ghost that is obsessed with wandering the world or possessing people. Most of them will choose to possess people, and only a few will wander the world. Duling School will admit students who are possessed or influenced by ghosts. The resentment dissipated.
