Fruit farmer Simu's sense of smell can catch the secret words of the wind, but when he meets Mu Jiji, the round son of the forest, he smells the promises that humans are forgetting - the first six are written on dewdrops, pine needles and tit wings, while the seventh is buried in the annual rings of the ancient trees in Mosu Village. When the pine cones in the pockets of the missing children began to cry, reporter Cheng Mei murmured in the dry forest, "In the end, only the trees know." She walked around the ancient trees three times and stepped into the dream village where childhood vows were hidden. The adults opened the dusty fairy tale books and understood the promises engraved in the annual rings: to guide the lost fireflies, to bandage the injured tree holes, and to always believe in the good night kiss of the son of the forest. When the seventh promise awakens with the fruit of memory, among the golden flowers blooming from the ancient trees, they hold the lost innocence of mankind and whisper softly: "Look, we have never left."
