An all-female social soft science fiction short story.
Black-bellied and infatuated × gloomy and world-weary
·
This is the year 2400, and I design the world in my eyes in the style I like.
It's been five years since I turned off all the plug-ins in my eyes, in my hands... All over my body.
The world in my eyes is a psychedelic city, an ancient snowy land, a special space... All the styles that humans can think of in the past can be freely switched between, and everything flows according to my heart.
And my girlfriend, in my eyes, is sometimes chic and handsome, sometimes charming, sometimes sweet and cute, and sometimes not even human.
But she will always love me so much and be so charming.
Although she always said that her true appearance was frighteningly ugly.
But I never cared. If she was really a beauty, she wouldn't be so willing to stay by my side and be the template for my fantasies. She will also lose her precious little inferiority complex in my eyes and her loyalty to me.
I don't care what her real appearance is, and I don't mind spending my life forever shaping my world virtually.
Primitivism makes no sense.
Virtuality is never scary, the truth is hurtful.
The truth does hurt.
Because from one day onwards, I began to suspect that my girlfriend was cheating.
Perhaps her true identity is far more terrifying than being ugly, and I began to fear this...
Concept: What is the end point of escaping reality?
