The place where I was born is a land blessed by nature but seemingly cursed by fate. The rhododendrons all over the mountains and plains are like the burning flames of the earth. Every April, the fiery scarlet color spreads on the hillside. They are like a group of crazy dancers, stretching their bodies wantonly, decorating the entire hillside like a strong oil painting. The bright colors seemed to dye the whole world with its mark, carrying an almost domineering aura.
Standing on the hillside and looking out, the village at the foot of the mountain is surrounded by this endless sea of flowers, but for some reason, there is an unsettling smell of blood in the gorgeousness, as if there is an unknown secret hidden under every azalea.
