Wen Jin is the daughter of Jin Caigu and her late husband Wen Zhijie. When Wenjin was 5 years old, her father died, and her mother worked as a dishwasher to support her. When she was 8 years old, Liu Xiaofang, the male hotel owner, married her mother. Three years later (at the age of 11), Liu Xiaofang also died. Because of her mother's beauty, when she was 13 years old, another accountant named Fang Daoshang proposed to marry her. One year later (only 14 years old), Fang Daoshang also died.
