In the 1970s, Lin Mizheng immigrated to West Germany, married Weisselbach and gave birth to a son, Linn. Soon after, their marriage broke up, and the mother and son received nothing and lived in a damp and cramped rental house. Lin Mizheng works in a tailor shop with a meager salary, barely making a living.
When Lin En was eight years old, Lin Mizheng met the generous and handsome Mr. Hornstein. Not long after, Lin Mizheng and his son moved into the Hornstein Manor together.
Mr. Hornstein's first wife died of illness not long ago. He also has a son, Theodore, who is the same age as Lynn but a few months younger.
Facing the Lin family mother and son who moved in, Theodore was filled with disgust. He kept teasing Lin En just to make him feel the same pain and suffering as himself.
For the sake of the relationship between his mother and Mr. Hornstein, Linn had always swallowed his anger and put on a mask of kindness. However, when he was fourteen years old, he could no longer stand Theodore's intensified teasing and made his own resistance. Unexpectedly, Theodore became even more crazy about him. Theodore only wanted to drag Linn into the abyss step by step and become his own.
