In Greek mythology, Daedalus warned Icarus: "Don't fly too high, the sun will melt the wax; don't fly too low, the sea water will wet the feathers."
And Wang Huiyu is that Icarus.
He longs for freedom, longs for light, and runs towards the sun without hesitation. Others advised him not to fly so high - for fear of him falling and getting hurt, like all Daedalus who loved his children.
But Zhuang Chenxu is different.
He did not stop him or persuade him.
He just stood by silently, blocking the burns for him, and doing his best for him, just to let Wang Huiyu fly higher. Even though the sunlight would burn through his skin, and even if anyone close to him would be swallowed up, he never took a step back.
They are not each other's shackles.
They are lovers spreading their wings side by side.
Therefore, Icarus did not fall.
Together they cross the sun and head towards the broader universe.
Intention: Get out of self-denial and learn to love each other through understanding; feelings should not prove each other, but illuminate each other.
