From 1920 to 1949, from the May 4th Movement to the founding of New China, Shen Jingshu, the daughter of the declining gentry in Suzhou, awakened her female consciousness through a volume of "New Youth". In the process of rescuing Lu Mingyuan, the leader of Yanjing, she discovered that the Shen family's ancestral house actually contained the Jiangnan waterway map surveyed and mapped by the Japanese army. In order to prevent the treasonous treaty, she formed the "Secret Fragrance Alliance" with female textile workers, prostitutes, and returned overseas Chinese. They used poetry and song performances to pass on information, hid explosives in the layers of cheongsams, and used the Buddha's birthday parade to blow up the Japanese military dock.
On the surface, Lu Mingyuan was sorting ancient books in the museum, but in fact, he was using oracle bone inscriptions as a cover to decipher the Japanese military's secret messages. During the fall of Shanghai, the two pretended to be a couple and opened a silk and satin shop, training 37 young operators. After experiencing the mysterious trace of the jade pendant (revealing that the Lu family is an old friend of the Shen family), poisoning the well water (preventing bacteriological warfare of Unit 731), and the secret war of gold yuan coupons (protecting the national gold reserves), we finally witnessed the People's Liberation Army entering the city at the city gate of Beijing. In his later years, he retired to his old house in Suzhou and donated his life-long intelligence files to the country. Under the crabapple tree in the courtyard are buried bullet casings from which he sent messages.
Purpose: They each grew into a complete person in the flames of war, and illuminated each other with independent souls in peacetime, proving that idealists can eventually own the country and live up to the bright moon.
