May I ask my guest, do you like flowers?
If you like it, peony, peony, lotus... I wonder which one your guest prefers?
If you don't like it, that's okay. Seen or not, the flowers are always open; whether round or missing, the moon is always there.
When I'm young, I'll make a pot of scented tea for the guest, light a stick of tonka, and tell a story about flowers. When the scent of the scented tea is no longer warm and the subtle fragrance of tonglin has dissipated, my story will be over.
Purpose: A book that is neither about the joy of a great reunion nor the sorrow of a great annihilation.
