Intellectual Gong Yitang
In the years of the Republic of China when people were poor and weak, and the people were in dire straits, the romance was overshadowed by the heavy background of the times. In this era full of conflicts and confrontations, countless people with lofty ideals are searching for solutions. Although the Revolution of 1911 overthrew the feudal monarchy, peace did not come as expected, and the country was still struggling in turmoil.
Gong Yutang, an advanced intellectual with ideals and beliefs, fatefully met Zhong Hua, the mysterious dragon god who was trapped in the Forbidden City on the eve of his return to his hometown.
The two crossed the boundaries of identity, time and space, and formed an incredible contract using pine and cypress and evergreen as tokens. Then, carrying the flame of the new trend of thought, they embarked on a journey to Zhejiang.
In the historical torrent of alternation between the old and the new, Gong Yutang and Zhong Hua worked together to use wisdom and courage as weapons to explore the path of saving the country and the people. From the failure of the first agricultural movement to the long march, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong... Their footprints remain on this ancient land.
