"Summer Cicada" is an original novel about youth campus. It tells the story of the transfer student Lin Yu'an and the troubled boy Jiang Ye from strangers to acquaintances. Lin Yu'an transferred schools frequently due to family reasons and had an introverted and distant personality, while Jiang Ye was a well-known "problem student" in the school, withdrawn and indifferent, but hiding unknown pain. After the two became roommates, they went from not interfering with each other at first to gradually discovering each other's secrets. Amidst the chirping of cicadas in summer, the two lonely hearts slowly got closer. They face school violence and family conflicts together, pursue their dreams together, and heal each other.
