Her brother's high medical expenses were like a huge mountain, weighing her down gradually, making her back gradually bend; her mother's departure became a scar on her heart that was difficult to heal, dripping with blood; the heavy studies seemed like endless hard labor, and the terrible living environment surrounded her airtight, making every breath difficult for her.
During countless exhausted moments, she would always subconsciously raise her head and look at the vast expanse of sky, trying to find the direction of the future in that clear blue. But every time, her mind seemed to be shrouded in fog, and it went blank, leaving only confusion and helplessness spreading in her heart.
In this dark world as thick as ink, Cheng Shu's appearance was like a light piercing the gloom. Cheng Shu's whole body was filled with an aura as bright and wanton as the sun, which made Lin Qingchu's inferiority complex grow like a weed at the first sight of him.
From then on, she would always peek at Cheng Shu inadvertently. Seeing him dozing off every now and then in class, his relaxed and comfortable expression was so far out of reach for her. She would often sketch a towering tree with a pencil on the scratch paper, and every line was filled with her secret desire. "Cheng Shu, God may be tired of the huge empire, but he will never despise that little flower. Thank you for being willing to take pity on me, a little flower struggling in the darkness." This gratitude and admiration hidden in her heart became her weak strength to persevere in the darkness.
Intention: God may be disgusted with big empires, but he will never be disgusted with small flowers.
