In 2045, "historical quantum retrieval" technology becomes popular, and humans can read time and space memories through the DNA of cultural relics. The state agency "Stele Forest Bureau" monopolizes the right to interpret history, while private "time thieves" tamper with history for profit. The heroine Cen Zhao, as the chief archaeologist of the Stele Forest Bureau, discovers the symbols of alien civilization in the oracle bone inscriptions of the Yin and Shang Dynasties.
