"Don't... Cry."
An Ming, an 'ignorant and conscious' vegetative state who had been lying in bed for ten years, was awakened by the suppressed cry of a child. She opened her dark eyes without confusion and looked at the little girl whose eyes were widened in fright by her sudden voice.
"Don't be afraid, don't cry anymore."
