This is a BE aesthetic work set in the rainy season of Seventeen. Jiang Chuan and Zhan Qiuyang met in the twilight of the art classroom. The young man's thoughts were wrapped up in layers of heavy rain, plaster statues and mint paper. Jiang Chuan used a sketchbook to measure the arc of his heartbeat and hid the turpentine-scented confession into the tilted angle of the umbrella rib; Zhan Qiuyang deciphered the code amidst the beeping of the lie detector and discovered that what fell from the gap in the locker was not only drawing paper, but also a gaze that spanned light years. When the heavy rain opened the last gap for them, all the carefully calculated probability games were solidified into eternity in the eye sockets of the plaster statue - those unfinished silhouettes, misplaced glances and the rain soaking the left shoulder, finally turned into the heartbeat of a seventeen-year-old sealed in turpentine at the seventh second when the rain stopped.
The idea: to use a lie detector to record every radio wave of the heartbeat, but to allow the carefully calculated probability game to solidify in the twilight of the plaster statue into an unfinished sketch in the seventh second of the rainy season.
