When the sky was shrouded in thick lead clouds and the world fell into darkness, a low and mysterious voice came quietly. A few people heard it and became "listeners" - they gained powers that ordinary people could not imagine: controlling fire, teleportation, reading thoughts... However, these powers are not blessings, but the beginning of the end.
The government views the listeners as a threat and pursues and suppresses them. The listeners were forced into hiding until they decided to band together and fight back against oppression. As the resistance organization grows, the truth of the doomsday gradually emerges: that voice is not accidental, but a warning to mankind from some higher existence.
