The story is set in Kirigakure Town, a mountain town with beautiful scenery but full of mysterious atmosphere on the southern coast. Here, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, making it seem real and illusory. The people in the town live a peaceful life, but everyone seems to have hidden secrets in their hearts. The story revolves around several young people and their family history, intertwined with love and hatred, self-salvation and the pursuit of the truth.
