Maomao likes to look up at the sky.
What is there in the sky? Sometimes there are no clouds, but most of the time, there is either a little or a patch of cloud swimming in the blue river. When there is wind, swim faster; when there is no wind, swim slower. Nothing more than that. Don't interpret this as a childish hobby just because Maomao is only a twelve or thirteen-year-old child. Her classmate and good friend Shuoshuo, a top student, did not have such a hobby. She pursed her lips at Maomao:
"Unless I can see meteors passing by in broad daylight, I won't waste time like a fool."
Maomao ignored her. She felt that Shuoshuo was a child who was stupid in his studies.
When Maomao looks at the sky, it's not about what's in the sky, but the window through which he sees the sky.
Her family lived on the first floor of a building with a courtyard. Normally, she would look through the square patio. When she went to school, she happened to be sitting by the window, so she looked through the window glass, which made her feel a hazy beauty. Later, the teacher wanted to seize this hazy beauty and placed her in the middle of the classroom. It wasn't a big deal. She turned her head and flew out with her eyes stepping on the heads of several classmates like stones.
She felt that she should work in a photo studio. She would know which frame would look best on the same photo.
