This boring summer becomes interesting with the turning on of magic.

Diagon Alley, where people come and go and sell all kinds of items;
the eccentric wandmaker;
A colorful but mysterious campus life.

Tom Riddle.
Both she and he were conceived under the influence of love potions.
Their wands are also made from the same branch.
