This is the story of an unsuccessful ordinary person, an ordinary person who cannot be found in a sea of 1.4 Billion people.
The brothers Jiang Changle and Chen Pingxin of the reorganized family have been left with some psychological trauma and great insecurities due to the influence of their families. Jiang Changle, a social planner who is struggling in society, is kind to everyone but keeps a distance from everyone; Chen Pingxin, a sophomore geology student who is slow and self-disciplined, has a strong possessiveness about his own things. Due to Chen's father's strong request, Chen Pingxin, who did not want to go home, moved into Jiang Changle's rental house.
