In the abyss forgotten by time, on the edge of reality, stands an altar that devours souls - the Arena. It is not an extraordinary creation, but a deformed thing born from an ancient nightmare. Its Gothic spiers pierce the dense fog, like ferocious claws, tightly strangling this cursed land. Under the Roman arches, there are maze-like corridors, echoing with unidentifiable whispers and endless darkness. In the center, the bottomless black well, like the eyes of a monster, shines with some kind of creeping, blasphemous light.
But it's far from a mere killing field, it's a realm of madness, a microcosm of the cosmic abyss. Faces appear on the walls like ghosts, and the ground cracks open without warning, swallowing up its ignorant victims. Ancient parchments, blood-stained sharp tools, and stones engraved with strange symbols are the crazy marks left by this twisted world.
Trust melts in the flames of fear, and reason sinks in the mire of despair. The survivors tried to solve the mystery of the arena, but like moths to a flame, they walked step by step towards the abyss of madness. Time begins to distort, space is no longer stable, hallucinations intertwine with reality, and past memories exude a disgusting smell like rotten fruit. Some victims even began to worship this dark altar, viewing killing as a kind of sacrifice. Their souls had long been devoured, leaving only twisted bodies.
When I woke up, I had nothing but fear. What lies beneath your feet is not just a maze, but a living nightmare hungry for flesh and blood.
Intent: A tribute to Poe's claustrophobia and Lovecraftian cosmic horror.
