In 1896, a brilliant and beautiful drop-shaped gemstone appeared in Alexandria, Egypt. The scientist who "salvaged" it, Louis, announced that all proceeds from the auction would be used to support the institute's scientific expedition around the Mediterranean - an expedition organized to combat Acheloids disease. A hundred years after the dust settled, a reporter and a scientist set out to explore the lost past from the pages of a worn notebook. They thought they were bystanders, but found that the story was still going on... What awaited them was the same choice as their predecessors:
