I have always wanted to try to write something. As a liberal arts student, I almost regard my freedom as a way of venting to a certain extent, so the following words were born.
I have tried many subjects, but almost every draft is inseparable from one theme - war. This is not to say that I like war and the kind of death full of blood and fire, I just think that war can better suit my writing style, that's all.
As for the inspiration for this book, it can be said that the ingredients are extremely complicated. You can, of course, if you like, roughly think of it as a strange mixture of All Quiet on the Western Front, Dune, and Sherlock. I mean the source of inspiration.
Of course, if I want to tell a story, it's best to introduce the characters first:
Xiao Lin: A captain non-commissioned officer of the 13th Regiment of the 76th Army of the Republic of Border Guard. Because of his status as a young soldier, he was forced to retire after the border war. He was later transferred to the Lingzhou Military Affairs Office as a clerk. He suffered from severe post-traumatic stress disorder, but he was not aware of it at first. I just felt that I couldn't adapt to life outside the battlefield.
Lin Lezheng: A detective from the Lingzhou City Police Department and Xiao Lin's co-tenant. He was not familiar with Xiao Lin at first. As they lived together for longer and longer, he gradually developed feelings for him. After learning that he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, he has been working hard to cure Xiao Lin.
In short, this is a story about death, redemption, and love. People are all mortal. When we truly cross the wilderness of time, cross the confusion of death, and come to the final promised land, we all hope that someone will be waiting for us there.
Purpose: Anti-war, redemption
