The Southern Qi army was defeated, and the third prince Chu Jiming, King of Jing'an, was captured on the battlefield and went to the Northern Jin Dynasty to be a hostage. During his seven years as a hostage, he met the Northern Jin prince Shen Junze. Chu Jiming returned to China and ascended the throne, and started a series of stories with Shen Junze.
