Cheng Lei, the crown prince of Southern Xia, approached Tian Jiarui, the crown prince of the Luoshui Kingdom, in order to annex other countries and expand his territory. After the Luoshui Kingdom was annihilated by the Southern Xia Kingdom, the former prince Tian Jiarui became a slave of the subjugated country.
