There is a bird whose nest is empty, and it lives in the void, both in life and death. Nowhere to be found, elusive.
"The bird with an empty nest traces the ripples in the water." There is such a metaphor in the Buddhist scriptures, which says that there is a bird called the bird with an empty nest. It does not live in trees, but its nest is in the void. It was born in the void and died in the void. It can never be caught and comes and goes without a trace, so it is called an empty nest bird.

Or is there still a glimmer of hope?
