A year after her grandfather passed away, she took an accidental trip and ate the dishes cooked by Sui Fan. The cooking method and taste were very close to her grandfather's dishes. However, due to various reasons, she did not go there often and could only order one dish at a time.
For the sake of her sick grandmother, Nan Xing enrolled in Qulou's cooking class to learn how to cook before the Chinese New Year, determined to give her a surprise.
As a chef, Sui Fan is used to not meeting customers, but every month someone will order the same dish about an hour before closing time, which makes him develop the habit of waiting for customers.
One day, Nan Xing returned to Ningcheng. He did not wait for the diners at the end of every month, but he often received postcards from Ningcheng, with various dishes and Jiangnan snacks drawn on them.
Before the Chinese New Year, she called and asked if she could tell her how to make that dish. She could pay for it, and the young apprentice who answered the phone gave her the information in one stroke.
It rained in Hong Kong City and the postcard was lost. Sui Fan didn't receive another postcard for a long time. After a while, she asked if they could meet.
He agreed, and it turned out to be Nan Xing, whom he often complained about when he learned how to cook.
