Zhang Hao is a young photographer who was hired by the mysterious heroine Li Anni when he was shooting urban scenery. He began to use his lens to record the "shadows" and unknown sides of the city. However, as the filming progressed, Zhang Hao gradually discovered that this city hides unspeakable secrets, and Li Anni seemed to know a lot about these secrets. As the two gradually get closer, Zhang Hao not only has to face the complicated relationship with Li Anni, but also falls into a huge mystery about the city, career and human nature.
