Lu Jingshen: He graduated from Stanford University with a Ph. D. At the age of 27. After returning to China, he took over his grandfather's company in Shanghai. Not long after the good times, his grandfather died of illness. He returned to Hangzhou to deal with his grandfather's funeral, but met Song Yang in the underground garage.
Song Yang: 24-year-old graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a master's degree. After graduating from university, he stayed in Shanghai to work for a foreign company. Because of his absolute understanding of the economy, he became the chief financial officer at a young age. After working for a year, he went home for the Chinese New Year and happened to meet Lu Jingshen.
