In the 1970s, golden rain showered Ayutthaya.
Mr. Weipa stepped into the villa with heavy steps, preparing to pick up his Chinese fiancée.
The tall branches of thin golden flowers were weaving and singing. Boyi folded a bunch of leaves and showed it off to his servant Aesop when a voice came from behind: "Abler symbolizes incomparable nobility and glory. Falling flowers are like people falling from a building. Why bother to climb and break flowers and trees? This does not seem to be what contemporary ladies do."
