Jiang Chuhe and Qi Lingfeng were abandoned since childhood and grew up in an orphanage. Jiang Chuhe was adopted when he was ten years old. Qi Lingfeng was raised by the director of the orphanage. Later, a fire burned down the orphanage. The director sent Qi Lingfeng out. He was trapped in the fire and burned to death. Later, Jiang Chuhe and Qi Lingfeng reunited in an alley. Jiang Chuhe took him home and went to school together. They were found to be gay and were forced to separate. In the end, Jiang Chuhe died of illness and Qi Lingfeng continued their love.
