I threw the check in her face, "Can I support you?"
She didn't speak, and looked at me quietly with her beautiful eyes.
I leaned close to her ear and called out the title that was full of moral prohibition: "Mom, why don't you speak?"
She laughed out loud, raised her hand and slapped me in the face, still in the same condescending tone, "I have a good memory, but you actually know that I am your baby mother."
I laughed too and rubbed the corner of her mouth where she had slapped her. It really hurt.
"A son inherits his father's legacy. My father is gone, so you are mine."
She sneered again and said slowly: "I am his legal wife, so I should inherit his inheritance."
She looked me up and down.
"You should still think about how to please me so as not to be kicked out."
