When Song Qingge heard Mo Aike's voice again, he was applying medicine to a three-month-old Ragdoll cat in the consulting room.
Outside the clinic, Mo Aike was discussing with a little boy which clothes were suitable for a jelly that didn't know whether it was a cat or a dog.
The puppet in Song Qingge was uncomfortable being scratched and stretched out its mouth to bite Song Qingge's hand, but the three-month-old kitten's attack power was really limited.
Mo Aike's voice, mixed with the kitten's piercing cry, reached Song Qingge's ears. Song Qingge wanted to go to the consulting room for a moment, but then felt in a trance again.
The kitten found the strength and bit the distracted Song Qingge hard.
Song Qingge hurriedly put her thoughts back and stretched out her index finger to gently rub the kitten's chin. The kitten was so comfortable that it stopped its harsh meowing and instead made a "purr" sound.
After quieting down, Song Qingge listened carefully to the voices outside the clinic, but only heard the sound of the bell hanging on the door.
