A little bit of Chi Qing's autobiography——
"When I first understood the principles and ethics of the world, I understood the language of animals - birds, animals, plants, flowers and spirits all understood it."
"As the years went by, I told my parents about this. They were all horrified. They thought it was a ghost and tried their best to hide it. One day, I was cited as a disaster by the people in the same village. In desperation, my parents moved away. Nothing happened after that."
"When I was fifteen years old, Yiyunfang Road passed outside my house for a long time. I accepted the kindness of water and talked about heaven's secrets. I didn't believe it at first. After only three days, I was punished by heaven. I had no choice but to tell my parents, and then I had no choice but to say goodbye. The Taoist priest left a jade hairpin, which he said could be exchanged for real gold and silver. It was worth a lot of money. It was regarded as a debt of gratitude to his parents. When Yu ran away, he could no longer fulfill his filial piety. It was difficult to repay the kindness. After receiving the hairpin, he could barely make up for the family income and left with tears."

Funny daily routine between master and apprentice:
Chang Heng: "I will observe the sky at night, master. Tomorrow will be a good day with clear skies and a good day for traveling."
Chi Qing didn't say anything, but silently prepared two umbrellas in his bag.
It rained heavily the next day——
Chang Heng wiped his face and said firmly, "Actually, I knew it would rain today. I wanted to see how you react. Now it seems that I have finally made a mistake. You are worthy of being my disciple! If we take the left road later, we should be able to reach the village before dark."
Chi Qing helplessly grabbed the master who was about to take a step, "You can't go this way!"
Chang Heng: "? Why?"
"There are robbers ahead."
"Who did you ask again?"
Chi Qing pointed to the muddy path but still saw messy footprints on the ground, with an expression on his face like "Master, don't you have common sense?"
Chang Heng: "..."
He patted Chi Qing's shoulder hard, "I knew you would be able to tell, you are worthy of being my apprentice!"
A few years later, the master and apprentice broke up together on the road. According to Chang Heng, he meant that the child would have to go out for a visit when he was older, so he took Chi Qing out overnight, smiling and throwing him a few bags of tips and luggage that had been prepared long ago.
"Master," he asked, "when can I come back to you?"
"Chiqing," the master said, "when you truly understand what the great path of the world is and what the suffering of all living beings is..."
"You can start training now."
