Three thousand miles away from our homeland, the joys and sorrows experienced in life seem to be very different, but the sweetness and bitterness of life are not inextricably linked. For all men are sojourners and strangers on earth. By various chances and coincidences, I chose to travel far away from home, reset everything, and start over again. It felt like the past life and the present life. The collision and exchange of different cultures make people re-examine what we are accustomed to and take for granted; the hardships of starting a new life make people break through the barriers of fame and fortune and be down to earth; after thousands of sails have gone through, they return to the ordinary and realize the true meaning of life.
Along the way, I have met many interesting people, and I want to record how they have participated in and enriched my life. I also experienced many trivial but real worries, such as children's education, choosing and transferring schools, finding a job, buying a house, etc. After tempering, my feet stepped on the solid ground and became more tenacious and optimistic. By recording all this, I hope to open a window for all seekers of the meaning of life. Those who have been, are, or will be on a dangerous journey may be surprised to find some empathy, which will be a comfort to you and me.
