Shen is like a silent yet turbulent river, belonging to the sky, drifting and helpless. Nothing seemed to hold her back, and she never stopped for anything. She seemed easy to get along with, gentle yet distant, like a gray sky shrouded in dark clouds, not raining, but light and dark. She carries an aura from the mountains and the sea, but freedom and imprisonment appear in her at the same time. She is a complex of contradictions, a quiet place that no one can set foot on.
Shu Yan is like the warm sun on the top of the snow-capped mountains, warm and clear, and like the spring in full bloom in the wind, warm and tenacious. She ran a tavern in a small town. Everyone envied her for her relaxation and contentment, but she also seemed to be confused and hesitant. She separated from her original family and came to the north thousands of miles away to escape from the constraints that suppressed her and could not be broken.
Two unruly souls collide, searching for the missing part of themselves in each other. They are like the extreme day and night of the world, but they unexpectedly resonate and participate in each other's lives. Maybe the ending of the story is not perfect, but they have become better versions of themselves because of each other.
