I would like to start this sad but romantic story with a poem:
"The Betrayal of the Rose"
I embrace the rose,
Full of affection and expectation,
I thought I could smell the fragrance of love,
Feel the colors of life.
Those delicate petals,
Like a dreamy skirt,
I am immersed in this gentle temptation,
Forgot the haze of the world.
But the rose still killed me,
With its sharp thorns,
pierce my skin,
Into my heart.
Blood stains its beauty,
The pain drowned my joy,
Why this beautiful promise,
Turn into fatal injury.
I fell at its feet,
The soul gradually leaves,
And the roses still bloom,
Don't understand my sorrow.
Intent: Its intention is to reveal the dangers and harms hidden behind beautiful things, to warn people not to be fooled by superficial beauty, to stay vigilant and sober, and to recognize the complexity and multi-facetedness of things. It also reflects the painful costs that blind pursuit of beauty may bring.
