Jiang He likes to study anecdotes on weekdays. By chance, he heard from his father, who was the minister of Dali Temple, about an unsolved case in which ten girls were brutally murdered three hundred years ago. In order to find the truth, Jiang He searched for information day and night, but found nothing.
Perhaps God was moved by her persistence. When he woke up, Jiang He was shocked to find that he had traveled three hundred years ago and became the cousin of Chen Yuan, the last victim of this unsolved case. He investigated the case together with Chang Jinxing, the Minister of Justice who also traveled through time.
When Jiang He came through, the murderer had already killed seven people in a row. The next target was Lan Ruo, then Luo Gusui, and finally Chen Yuan. Not wanting any more innocent people to die, Jiang He stopped them before they got into trouble. The fate of Lan Ruo and Luo Gusui being killed changed, but Chen Yuan still died mysteriously at home as recorded in the file.
Why can't Chen Yuan's fate be changed alone?
