The aliens came and used the earthlings as experimental subjects, releasing the zombie virus, but also put a safety shield on the houses where everyone lived. It can only resist zombie attacks. The male protagonist is studying infrastructure. He wants to find his parents and has to leave the safe house and collect supplies everywhere.
