Do you believe there are gods in this world?
In Hua Wenling's eyes, her sister is the god in her eyes.
Before the age of thirteen, Hua Wenling's world was a small but warm sky. She and her sister depended on each other and lived in a simple bamboo-fenced courtyard in a corner of the ancient town. They planted in spring and harvested in autumn, with cool summers and warm winters. Although their lives were poor, they were particularly sweet because of each other's company. Her sister was the light in her life. She not only taught her poetry and etiquette, but also taught her perseverance and kindness by setting an example. However, at the moment when Hua Wenling entered her prime years, her sister left a note saying "Don't miss her" and quietly left home, dissipating without a trace like morning mist, leaving her with only endless thoughts and confusion.
In despair and confusion, Hua Wenling embarked on her return journey, returning to the place that held her and her sister's first memories - Xuanqingguan. Here, it is ancient and mysterious, and every brick and tile seems to tell an unknown story.
There lived a Taoist priest with a different personality and strange behavior in the temple. His words were always mixed with words such as "time travel" and "technology" that Hua Wenling had never heard of, which confused her like a book from heaven. But it was this seemingly eccentric Taoist priest who, in his unique way, silently guarded this pure land and quietly affected Hua Wenling's heart.
Time flies, and three years pass quietly in the tranquility of Xuanqing Temple. Hua Wenling grew up from an ignorant girl to a gentle and tenacious woman. At the age of eighteen, she seemed to be gently pushed by the hand of fate, and by chance, she came to the prosperous city of Chang'an.
Chang'an, this ancient and glorious city, is both a starting point and a new journey for her. Here, how will she continue to write her own story, reunite with her past friends, uncover the truth about her sister's death, or start a new legend? Everything is full of unknowns and expectations. Hua Wenling knew that her wonderful chapter had just begun.
Intention: Do you believe there are gods in this world? I would rather believe in God than believe in my own life!
