Today, 24 years ago, there is still a special group of people running between urban and rural areas, performing strange, supernatural, and ghost-related missions. This group of people has five factions, namely the ingenious paper craftsman faction, the shamans from the Northeast, the corpse exorcists from Western Hunan, the carpenters from Sichuan and Chongqing, and the Gu masters from Yunnan. Each faction has its own unique unnatural methods, and of course each has its own style of doing things. Our protagonist Chen Feng belongs to one of the shaman factions, and the story begins in a small rural village in the Northeast.
